Gypsy - 1998, Paper Mill Playhouse, New Jersey
One of the best reviewed performances of "Rose" ever. Then Betty Buckley -- yes, here's Rose, a revelatory Rose -- makes the character's classic down-the-aisle entrance, and real good times are no longer here to stay. For she will seize your heart, warm it and then break it. From "When a Rose Is a Rose Is a Rose Indeed" By ALVIN KLEIN, New York Times, Published: September 20, 1998

A Little Night Music - 2010, Le Théâtre du Châtelet, Paris, France
My dear friend Kari took her very first trip to Paris last week. While she was there, she saw A Little Night Music at Le Théâtre du Châtelet- the very first production of it in Paris. It was a dream trip for her. And lucky me, she thought about me and presented me with un programme. Wow - they really know how to do it right (as do the Brits). It's around 90 pages long. Here are some highlights:

Anyone Can Whistle - 1964, Majestic Theatre, Broadway

This is an early Preview Bill. It's an exciting find because the show only had 12 Broadway previews, beginning March 24, 1964. It opened on April 4, 1964, and closed 9 performances later on April 11, 1964.
